PARSIPPANY, N.J., May 3, 2005 - A survey conducted in conjunction with the April 19, 2005 executive forum, "Achieving World-Class Performance Through Workforce Management," sponsored by CyberShift, Inc. a leading provider of workforce management software and services, and featuring research from The Hackett Group, a leading business process advisory firm, revealed the ability to better allocate employee time to revenue-producing activities as the most significant business opportunity relative to workforce management within their organizations in 2005, followed closely by a need to improve employee productivity through better allocation of time and work skills. Both findings support The Hackett Group's definition of a world-class organization where workforce assets are closely aligned to business strategy.
The Web-based forum presented select data and analysis from The Hackett Group's Book of Numbers© Research Series, discussed key performance metrics of world-class HR organizations and reviewed enabling best practices of leading organizations and how to drive more value at lower costs.

Nearly all of the retailers responding to the survey sought improved employee productivity through the better allocation of time and work skills while participants from the financial service sector were most concerned with reducing costs by improving labor efficiencies. Overall, survey participants responded that increasing the allocation of employee time to revenue-generating activities should lead their efforts.
