The Hearst Corporation To Deploy Web-Based Workforce Management Solution from CyberShift

- Time and Attendance, Scheduling Capabilities and Financial Reporting Compliance to Support Media Giant's Operational Efficiency -

PARSIPPANY, N.J., February 15, 2005 - CyberShift, Inc. a leading provider of workforce management software and services, today announced that one of the nation's largest diversified communications companies, The Hearst Corporation, has begun deployment of the CyberShift Workforce Management Suite to optimize the management of its complex workforce for improved productivity and business performance.

The Hearst Corporation's network of companies, including newspapers, magazines and television stations employs nearly 17,000 employees. The first phase of implementation will begin with the Communications Data Services (CDS) division, a third-party fulfillment call-center based in Des Moines, Iowa.

Replacing a combination of existing disparate systems and manual time-keeping practices, the CyberShift Workforce Management Suite will automate all aspects of time management, improving operational efficiencies and enabling administrative staff once tasked with data entry to be reassigned to higher-value roles.
